Question Disembarking ?

Does Virgin always disembark the same way? If so in what order do you get off the plane please? Do they let you off the back and the front, which seats number get off first?

If it matters we will be on the 10.30 flight from Manchester to Orlando...

TIA

Also whilst I am on I have just noticed my flight home has changed time. We should of left at 19.20 and now it says we leave MCO at 16.45? Does that mean they have put me on a different flight home altogether without telling me?

Every time I have flown Virgin from Manchester or London it has been the same. You disembark from the front (the back remains closed). They let off premium economy and first class off first, then they let the upstairs off, then they let economy off last.

It is not specific seat numbers that get let off first, it's whatever order the people leave from the order I mentioned first. The people off first tend to be the people at the back of premium economy because they are nearest the doors (first class is past premium economy to the front of the plane)

Might not mean they have put you on another flight, they may have just changed the flight time. They are allowed to do this under the terms and conditions.

Ah,
Ok, thanks for that. I won't bother moving my seats then. Currently got row 26 and 27 economy seats. I was going to get a back row and row in front 2x2 for reclining but the free ones are way back so I shan't bother with that then.

Don't suppose you know anything about my second question do you?

We like an exit row on the 747 from Gatwick and always book row 25 on the left not right of the plane if we can going out. That's where everyone disembarks. We get off before UC or premium as they need you out of the way for others to get off. So first heading for immigration. So I'd say seats near to those would be good. The right hand side of the plane is ok, but left is quicker if near row 25.

Coming home not bothered. Quick through customs just means a longer wait for cases in our experience.

Oh that is brilliant as we are the row behind and on the left so I will stick with what I have got. Thank you...

It looks like they have changed my flight as I have just gone on pretending to book and there are two flights, one with my original flight times and one with my new flight times!

Who did you book through? It’s a shame u will have to lose some more hours of your holiday. Can you contact them and ask why?
