As it was my first cruise ( and my Nan's!) - I booked the whole thing with Royal Caribbean. Flights and cruise. Which included all transfers and the night in the Wyndham. It cost quite a bit more ( Flights were double the price!) but I really liked the security of it all. If that makes sense?

I wonder if one day one of my grandsons will take me on a cruise ... having said that my eldest grandson is only seven, so a little while to wait I do have nice teenage granddaughter though - perhaps i might be better buttering her up.

Sounds like a good journey and lovely room. I'm off to read more ...
