Combining Yachtsman Steakhouse with evening at Boardwalk?
Hi
During our visit in May 2016 (2 adults) we were intending to spend one evening over at the Boardwalk, to include a meal. It appears that the Flying Fish Cafe will be closed whilst we are there, and the other eateries around the Boardwalk don't really appeal (based on reviews in the Unofficial Guide!). I seem to recall reading that the Yacht Club Resort is in walking distance to the Boardwalk - is this correct? Is the Yacht Club resort worth a visit for a look around? So how about we could arrive at Yacht Club resort for 7.00pm for a look around, have a 7.30pm ADR at Yachtsman Steakhouse, then wander over to Boardwalk for the rest of the evening? |

That would work well. The Boardwalk/Yacht Club/Beach Club are all set around a lake and it's a nice walk around the full circle.

Sounds great - easy walk (and it's a nice one) or you can catch the boat. You might like to walk off your meal though
Do you know how you plan to fill the evening on the Boardwalk? There are entertainers etc but not sure that would keep you happy all night. Were you thinking of Jellyrolls for example? My favourite bar is at the Dolphin (BlueZoo)

Dolphin is next door to Ŷacht Club, and Swan is next to Boardwalk. They are all around the same lake. The entire loop is around 0.9 miles, I think.

Great thanks! Sounds like we could do a meal (maybe even a bit earlier, around 7pm), have a drink (or two!) in Dolphin, nice stroll over to Boardwalk and then see how we feel from there. Seems like a good option for where I was planning a "relaxing evening with the potential for it to not be relaxing" lol!

This map may help get your head around it as well:
So you can walk around the lake to see what's about, or you can get the boat across as well. The boat order goes HS -> Swan/Dolphin -> Yacht Club -> Boardwalk -> Epcot (and the reverse also applies from the docks - make sure you get on the right one!)
