We were opposite Mel’s Diner too and went there one night for dessert. Would be happy to stay at Cow Hollow Inn if we returned.

Parking is expensive unlrss you find a deal. Personally I don’t think you need a car. It would be a nightmare to drive around. It’s a very walkable / public transport place. We picked our car up on leaving SF. If I were you I would drop it off when you arrive and just arrange taxi/ Uber or transfer to the airport

Good to read this thread about cow hollow inn! Booked it last week as like everyone else, all the hotels are crazy prices! Only there for 3 nights so it’ll do the trick👌🏻
