Question Shopping in August

Hi all,
We love to have a look around all the outlets in Orlando. Last time we visited we bagged some fab bargains as the post Christmas sales started.

Are there likely to be any extra sales in August and if so what type of extra discounts am I looking at?
Thanks All
Louise

There is an annual sales tax holiday, usually the first weekend of August. Sales tax-free items include school supplies costing less than $15, personal computers or accessories costing $750 or less, and clothing and footwear costing $60 or less.

The sales are generally good throughout August as it is end of season for their summer stock. There are also the Labour Day sales at the end of August/beginning of September.

There are 'sales' on all the time. The name changes each week according to whether there is a holiday to name it after or not.
Orlando gets 60 million visitors each year - that is a different 1 million each week. They have to entice them away from the theme parks somehow - just as you yourself are looking for sales and bargains.
Visitors are not there long enough to keep track of prices throughout the whole year.
If you think I am just being cynical, take a look at the JCPenney and Macys web sites each week, for example.

That back to school sales tax exemption last August saved us quite a bit. 6.5% off effectively

Great thanks guys.
Ianc- I don't think you're being cynical you are probably right. I just like to think I'm getting more of a bargain, helps me sell it to my husband
