Mobile Buying the Apple HomePod in the US

Would it work in the UK at all. Wasn’t sure if the plug is part of the power cable or not or whether it can be easily replaced. Around at £50 saving at exchange rate of 1.38

No responses, no probs. I’ll ask on a more technical platform/forum and report back the answer here in case any others are interested in the answer.

Am not sure, kept meaning to check ours but am at work again - but think the power lead might be "hard wired" into it, rather than plug in and thus not able / easy to swap for UK one

Hi Mark,

The tech specs for the Homepod say that it is a built in power supply for 100-220v. So its either a plug in lead that you could swap for a UK 3-pin plug or, if its fixed, you could just use a USA to UK adaptor. My 2p anyway.

The wire and plug are hard wired in.

Here is a link to a video of one being unboxed.
