WE were there last Aug and even for them they were having a heat wave 12 degrees higher than the normal hot hot hot ! We had pool days and late afternoon looking around the hotels, shopping etc.
It was still far to hot to walk the strip and like others we dodged the strip by walking from hotel to hotel.
We loved it though.

I have a cousin who loves the heat and went in July.

Lying by the pool reading a book, she recalled the pages falling out as she turned them as the heat was melting the glue.

Haha! Yes this happened to me in Vegas and Palm Springs. By the time we were leaving I no longer had books I just had a bag of loose pages! And my plastic sunglasses case also melted on the ground.

we went in aug and do the same with florida, I love the florida heat but couldn't cope in LV, spent most of the time in hotel, DH was the opposite, found it much more comfortable than florida, he hates the humidity. we are going back this oct because I felt we missed out on so much. sorry don't want to be a downer but just being honest but saying that everyone is different.
