Who to book with? DCL
We are looking at doing a 3 night Disney Cruise at the end of September next year. Wondering who is best to book with as have heard US TA’s have better deals. TIA

We have always booked with Dreams unlimited travel. The cost of the cruise is the same as if you book through the American Disney cruise website but you get room credits which are a bonus. I’m sure there will be others that are just as good though. Dreams unlimited do give you a no pressure quote.

We had to cancel a couple of years ago due to health issues. No problem and fully refunded although that is Disney policy. This year we had a little windfall and upgraded to concierge. Again no problem. Added daughters boyfriend last year with no difficulty. We use Merrie Thomas.

We used to use Dreams Unlimited but they got too big and impersonal, made a few errors, so away we went ... we have used Travel on a Dream since and they have been fantastic. Small company and everyone you deal with for DCL has sailed on DCL multiple times, unlike other TAs.
Booking with a US TA doesn't change the price of the cruise at all, but they may give you some on board credit which comes out of their commission basically. DCL do not allow for discounted cruises so the base price will always be the same. If you are risk averse, you may want to book direct on the website though as you can pay in pounds and you are not at the mercy of any currency fluctuations. Whoever you choose to use, ask them how many Disney cruises they have been on. When something goes wrong (and it does, even with DCL) they will be worth their weight in gold for you if they have a good knowledge of DCL. Joa
