Men's Tag watch
My son would like a Tag watch for his 21st birthday. We are doing a 4 night RCI cruise and a 7 night Celebrity cruise at the end of next month and obviously thought of looking on board ship.
Has anyone bought a Tag watch from a cruise ship - did you find they had a really good discount as opposed to buying from home. We are visiting Nassau, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Key West - or would we get a much better buy from one of the islands? Any thoughts? |

I have no experience of shopping on a cruise ship but did price up a mans Tag watch in USA, as the dollar rate is not that great and there is sales tax to be added it worked out cheaper to purchase from Biscester outlets, I bought 2 Tag watches (for both husband and son) for not much more than the price of one watch in USA, yes I know they were last years design but DH and DS were not complaining.

We picked up one for my 40th last summer from Watches of Switzerland at Heathrow airport on the way out (Carerra Calibre 7) and it was ~£500 cheaper than in the shops/jewellers. You can see what stock they have online - they didn’t have the one I was interested in but after emailing them in advance they got one in stock ready for when I turned up (was no obligation but excellent service and picked up a load of reward points as well ).
I had a look whilst in the outlets and there were some fairly decent deals, but were more older models and they didn’t have the Carerra 7 that I wanted so glad I bought it before flying out. |

I brought a tag from the outlets in Florida sometimes hard to tell on price as some are discontinued models.
Before you go away check out a website called Swiss watches direct, perfectly fine and trusted company! My brothers breitling was £50 cheaper from them than in duty free. If it’s at a good price your happy with on the site I just suggested show it to your local jeweller and see if they will price mate, ours did |

Also don’t forget they are liable to be declared on return to UK as they will be over the customs limit.
