Driving Orlando to Naples - suggested stops?

We are flying into Orlando in August and will be driving down to Naples the next day, I believe it is about four hours. DH isn't a fan of driving and me even moreso so I am looking for some suggestions on stops or would even consider staying somewhere else mid-route. I guess we could fly to Fort Myers as we are sitting on some airmiles but from looking at the timings to get to the airport and waiting around there it is quicker to drive. Can any of you Gulf Coast experts offer some advice please?

How about Anna Maria? It's about half way and a fab place for lunch/ice cream and a wander up the beach.

It’s not a bad drive at all. I would have a comfort break at Ellenton Mall.

There's the Ringling at Sarasota - planning on going there at Easter.

Ellenton Mall has become our de facto coffee/toilet stop when driving down the coast. Almost half way.

Some good suggestions

It's an easy drive, we did it last summer but I drove the whole way as DH doesn't drive. We only stopped for some fuel and a couple of cold drinks about halfway down, just past Tampa I think? Naples is beautiful - we are heading back there this summer.
