Vegas - Who to book with?

so i have decided to treat mum to a trip to vegas end of august/september time?

who is the best to book with? can you get a bargain with some trips?

who is the best travel company?

I've not been to vegas before but I booked my upcoming trip with e bookers. You get bonus points with them towards future hotel bookings as loyalty points and go to site via quidco and you can get some cashback
There is a variation in price but we booked direct flights both ways from Heathrow . We are staying at bellagio in a queen fountain view room for 4 nights. This cost just under £2000 for 2 of us. There are cheaper options though and you could stay further north or south so not directly on the strip, i think i looked at mandalay bay for around £650/700 each. Good luck hunting.

With Vegas, I always book a refundable room rate - usually directly with the hotel themselves but will use third parties like Expedia and the like as long as it's fully refundable. Especially if you are planning to stay in a casino hotel as most of them will release offers (check sites such as Smarter Vegas) but they do this quite close to the time. Then I am free to rebook when the offer comes along, but I at least have a room secured at a price I'm willing to pay if not.

The last time we went, I rebooked our hotel about three weeks before and ended up paying about half the price since attendance was lower than expected so they dropped the rates and got a big resort credit (used for meals) on top. I stayed in Vdara as I like that it's smoke free but that particular offer was valid at both Aria and Vdara (they are sister properties) and the credit could be used in either. Room worked out at $50 per night after the credit was factored in.

I always DIY so can't recommend any TAs.

Booking it DIY will almost always be the cheapest way.

We go yearly and I compare prices and a TA can't get near DIY prices.

Usually book flights in the BA sale and then hotels either direct or through a broker like Travel Republic/Expedia..

September after the schools in the UK go back (US will already be back) will be the cheapest of those two months.
