Winter Garden is a community around 20 miles due north of the WDW area. Home of the Winter Garden Village shopping.

Winter Park around 25 miles north east of WDW and home to the Scenic Lake Boat ride and the Morse Museum.

Winter Gardens village itself is worth a visit itself after the retail park. They have done wonders to the. main Street. Loads of coffee shops and decent eateries. Although (grammar purist , I know you shouldn't start a sentence with although but what the heck?) we ate in a hole in the wall BBQ place Harry and Larry's on the advice of locals it was amazing!

We love winter garden village, had lunch in Panera Bread last time which was fab.

You can also find the Cheesecake Factory in Winter Park. We went to Winter Gardens and got some strange looks when we asked directions to the Cheesecake Factory - we were in the wrong town!

They are 2 different places 15 miles apart - look them up on GoogleMaps.

And to confuse youeven further, there is also Winter Haven, famous for its lakes and Legoland.

Both definitely worth a visit. We enjoy the craft beer brewery at Winter Gardens and the Saturday market.

We visited Winter Park for the first time last summer and would highly recommend the Scenic Boat Tour - the houses around the lake are amazing. Would love to go back to explore further. Gorgeous boutique shops, nice restaurants / coffee shops and there was a farmers market on the Saturday that we visited. Would recommend a visit to Winter Park if you can fit it in - we will def go back again.
