Everglades boat tour

We’re flying into Miami, staying overnight in Miami after the flight then heading over to the west coast. We’d like to drive through the Everglades and do an airboat tour. Not bothered if private or a small group tour. Can you recommend any companies who operate in this area? Especially interested in those you have had personal experience with. Thanks in advance.

Try the everglades holiday park, just on the edge of fort Lauderdale.

Be aware that the Everglades National Park does not permit airboats inside the park, but there is an ordinary boat tour at the end of the road at Flamingo.
The airboats operate outside the park, so not in the Everglades proper. There are several along the US41 Tamiami Trail as you head west - don't know how good they are. There are several at the western end of the US41 too.
