Who's done a little east coast tour?
So as soon as the DCL dates come out for Aug we plan to book end of school holidays next year. Looking at flights (only have this year's to go on) we can fly into Ft Lauderdale for £350pp which is nearly half the price of MCO. We've come up the the idea of driving from there to Boca Raton, spending a night, have a look around, go up a bit to see West Palm beach and then the same day up to Cocoa Beach. Then ready for the cruise the next day. Then after the cruise head on over to Universal are for a week.
Has anyone done similar? Are there any areas you recommend? We are aware Cocoa isn't the best which is why we will get there late then be out the next morning to embark the ship. It would mean a couple of different cars too, but I think we can work it to our advantage.
