Dr. That food looks nice, may give it a try this next trip.
We haven't been there since it was the Capt's Grill so time for a return I think.
Must say the garlic shrimp looks lovely.

We spent yesterday afternoon ditching a load of reservations for our Aug/Sept trip and are down to 14 from 28. Going to be a different visit by the look of it!
No longer will I be hostage to WDW prices.

Lunch today was at Longhorn’s

Bread

Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

We both chose combos off the lunch menu

Mushroom Swiss burger with bowl of chili

Strawberry chicken salad with lobster chowder

All enjoyable with friendly efficient service without breaking the bank lol.

Great photos. We had lunch at Ale & Compass in May and enjoyed the business lunch vibe which was a change. We will go there again.

Have to agree with you Tom - we will be cancelling half our ADR's booked for Sept/Oct. We enjoy the signatures but can't really justify the expense.

You have great taste but the Disney restaurants are poor value.

Morimoto Asia looks the best meal you have had but even that is overpriced.

As I said good food choices but you will find better food at reasonable prices offsite.

Another of our favourite dinners next - a stroll to BlueZoo at the Dolphin where we were very well looked after by Jessie, a server there we have known for 10+ years.

Moscow Mule (left) Zoo berry (right)

Bread with fennel butter

Asian pork ribs

Scallops with short rib - this app has been on the menu since our first vist and is so good DW has never ordered anything else 😀

Blackened Shrimp

Pecan crusted grouper

Jessie noticed the kids weren’t with us this trip and said if they weren’t here to wish me happy Father’s Day then she would them help out and brought out this -

Citrus meringue cake.

Another top notch dinner which, as long as you don’t need to use DDP, (it’s not accepted) I highly recommend you try.

Dr. We have mulled over going to Blue Zoo for years. Looks fantastic I must say.
The scallops and short rib looks excellent as does the blackened shrimp. I would have had the grouper but I dont like pecans, I suspect they would have done something about that for me if I asked.

You Guys have had some great food I must say. Oh, the dessert looks lovely, so well presented and always tastes better when free!
Why is there a pickled onion on it though.

She really is a star. This was what she brought out last trip for my birthday.

It was like a chocolate golf ball which melted when she poured warm orange sauce over it.
