Anyone Going To The DTD Lego Shop Soon ?

Just wondered if anyone that is going to the DTD lego shop could do me a BIG favour ?

My son was desparate to get this model (MODEL 10178) whilst we were over there ;shop.lego/Product/?p=10178

Unfortunately, when we went to pick one up, they were out of stock the few days before we left to go home and it is not available in Britain. He was gutted ! ...and of course it was all my fault too, for not letting him buy it earlier in the holiday.

I phoned the Lego shop when we got back and they were quoting an incredible $120 for postage alone ! ... its a medium sized set, nothing massive as I recall... so they are obviously not interested in exporting their products to the UK

My son has a birthday in mid April and I'd love to surprise him with one... would anyone be willing to pick one up ? I don't mind pay in full, or in part, up front

Hi Judy,

Don't know how muc they are in the US but found this one on e-bay. There are a few on there from the US which may ship to the UK.
Lego

Might be worth a try?

Sorry Judy - meant to say if you can't get one I oculd pick one up for you if they have them but we're not back until 19th so couldn't post anything out till about 22/23rd April which may be too late for you. If no-one else can do it sooner or if you can't get hold of one come back to me and I can get it for you.

Thanks Pam

I had a look at this yesterday, but it still worked out £60 dearer than the Lego shop when postage etc was added

... and thanks for the kind offer but his birthday is the 14th April and I was rather hoping to get one for then. I appreciate your kind thoughts though

Judy x

If you go to lego and go to Shop and look in the Star Wars section they have it for £89.99 plus £5.25 shipping, est 7 days for delivery. If that's any help.
