Mobile Revolut card

Hi everyone! Could anyone explain how the Revolut card works please? Can I start loading the card every month before I go? Thanks 😊

Hi Lynsey,

You just use it like a pre paid debit card really - I top up as and when I have some spare cash but if you ever need the cash it is very quick to transfer back to your bank. I think you can deposit up to 5K before it starts to charge you.

I love it - got it in 2016 and had no problems at all - I like being able to lock the card on the app when not in use in case it gets lost.

I found it offers a very reasonable exchange rate too.

Hope this helps.

Yes you can just deposit cash onto the card whenever you like. You are then free to covert over to $ whenever you like the look of the rate. Also, if you $ left over after your holiday you can convert back to £ and either spend it using the card, or transfer back to bank... its a great card

As others have said it is easy to transfer and also convert as much or little as you like. Now I use it as a budget tool for food shopping. I transfer the months budget across and use it to pay for any food I buy. It has saved me quite a bit of money as it was surprising how much of my own money I was using for food. It has a facility where it rounds up all the transactions and puts it into a "vault" which I am using for savings to Florida. Every little helps.
