Nintendo ds lites!

Hi, Just wondering if anybody has been to orlando recently and got a Nintendo ds lite. I have told my daughter to save her birthday money and buy the ds when we go on holiday (april 1st), does anybody know if there are plenty around out there, as i dont want to get out there and have trouble getting one as she will be very dissapointed and blame me :angry:. A friend of mine went to new york last week and had a some trouble getting hold of one that wasn't pink.
Also where is the best place to look, Walmart ?

are the ds's coming in at the same price as here or are they cheaper

Out of stock everywhere (Virgin DTD), Walmart, etc ...last week when we were over there

The only place that had one was a game shop in MCO - they had a the brand new blue one but at $185 (with tax etc) it was no big saving and just not worth the hassle if anything turned out to be wrong with it

Can't imagine why there is still a supply problem this long after Xmas - they must be losing loads of business

We were there at Christmas and bought a DS lite (red and black) for my son in Toys R Us and it cost 129.99 USD + tax, so it worked our about half what we would have been charged here and the games are also half price and plenty available.

DS saved his birthday money to buy a DS Lite when we go away in a few months. There have been loads of posts by people saying that they can be hard to get hold of though, so we've told him that he might not be able to get one there.

There are plenty of Walmarts is Florida and Toys R Us, so don't despair hopefully Nintendo will re-stock and everything will be okay. My son was well pleased as he has a red / black one and there aren't many about here like that...

Oh dear, think i better warn her then to avoid the dissapointment, still got 6 weeks alot can change in that time, fingers crossed!

why dont you just get the console from over here and get her games over there as they are near enough half the price
