I think I am more concerned that if the new flights get cancelled that they will only refund the lower amount. If we take the new flights then it is not as bad as at least we got a holiday. Also means if we are ill and want to claim on insurance that I only have a receipt for the new amount so quite a loss. I did ask to see the policy on this but to no avail.

Thanks so much magickate our original flights were cancelled so I may try that stance see where I get.

No problem, hope it helps.
Ours hasn't been cancelled, it wasn't until April. It was part of a holiday though that included a cruise so we moved it to August in the hope it would be more likely to go ahead.

Although it would be nice for us I really hope flights still aren't being cancelled by April.
