My birthday is 16th Dec so usually after that. We do the 12 days of Christmas though, nothing down till Jan 6th. Coincidentally that is my dad’s birthday!
We should have been in Tokyo Disney for mid November so we might put the tree up earlier though! Edited at 06:01 PM. |

Usually take 1st week December off work and do it then but had already booked off from 30th Nov this year so will do it that weekend (28/29) as Dh also off work and I need him for the lifting and carrying
 Dont usually take down until 12th night (well, just before so it can all be away by 12th night)

Love getting my tree down the end of November to let it breathe. I put my lights and then my Disney tree ornaments about three days later.
My birthday is on the 21st December so if I waited until after this date to decorate I would not enjoy the ‘Magic’ with my granddaughter. She loves to see if I have any new Disney ornaments. 🎄🎄🎄

We have annual leave booked in mid November and can’t go anywhere - so we will be decking up!

I also let my trees breath ie spend days fluffing the branches every time I go by one
Or check the light on the pre lit one Have also been know to decorate a tree and then next day strip it and start again. Sometimes more than once |

We tend to do 12days before as my birthday is the 14th so I like it up by then , but I have done it on the 1st a couple of times and I’m going to have it up early this year as I think we will need something to cheer us up.
