Help me with job pdf application form

Hi folks, I am wanting to apply for a job, the application guidance and form are downloadable from the website. however it downloads as pdf and as such I am unable to complete the form, which needs to be returned via email. How can I get to complete the pdf form?

I am doubting myself big time now

Is there an option on the right menu to edit the file?

Adobe will normally let you write on top of the form

Yes there is but it directs me to take up a paid subscription

It doesnt matter where I try to "click" its just not letting me. I dont want to look a complete nonce

If you can download it anyway, print it out, write on it, then scan it in.
It may need a signature

Adding text to PDF : when you have doc up on the right hand side at top of screen you should see tools, fill & sign, comment
Click fill and sign
Click T add text
Then you can click on doc where you want to add text and fill in
Add text box will come up where you can change font etc

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. It would appear that adobe needed to update and was basically "jammed" i rebooted the laptop (instead of putting it to sleep like i normally do) and it started an update and now I can type into it.
