Does this exist?

I’m looking for somewhere that has 5 bedrooms - ideally one on the ground floor with a walk in shower - in the Lakes, Peak District or Yorkshire and has amenities close by, ie not in the middle of nowhere!

Ideally I’d like a lodge or cottage but in the grounds of a hotel so we could use their facilities.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Failing that a nice hotel in the above regions where I can book multiple rooms.

We’ve booked previously with Heart of the Lakes, Cumbrian cottages and Lakelovers. While never having booked something as large as what you’re looking for they all have a fantastic selection to look through.

You could try AirBnB and use the "More Filters" option to specify the number of bedrooms and there are lots of options in the "Accessibility Needs" section of the filters, and you can filter for properties with no steps to the bedroom - that's what THIS SEARCH is searching on. You could change it There aren't many but they all look gorgeous, although you need to have a good look to see whether there are any other facilities nearby. Unfortunately by their nature bigger properties tend to be more isolated.

I haven't searched on the bathroom options in the accessibility section but there are quite a few different options in there that you can try.

I've also tried taking off the filter for a bedroom with no steps, but added a filter for properties with a lift instead, which might be suitable - HERE THEY ARE. Again you'd have to check that access to the bedroom was suitable.

Look for static caravan parks, phone up for private let options. Too many to mention so pick an area and search from there. Bowness is a starting point.
