Frankfurt
Has anyone done a return leg via Frankfurt? I have seen a really good flight price (£411 in August) but the return is with Lufthansa. My DH is a bit cautious to say the least but surely lots do it for such a price?!?!
Any thoughts?

I haven’t done it yet but will be doing in April, we have never done indirect flights but it was £1,400 cheaper so decided to go for it this time. We fly with American Airlines on the way via Newark airport and then Lufthansa on way home via Frankfurt.
We were a bit cautious as well but from what I’ve read Lufthansa are okay. |

We only did Frankfurt on the way out, but it was a breeze and Lufthansa easy the most pleasant and efficient airline we have ever flown with, absolutely perfect.

We are flying with Lufthansa from LHR-Tampa via Frankfurt for both legs in August, at the time price was like a previous poster advised around £1400 so couldnt really not do it.

We flew Man-MCO return via Frankfurt last April with Lufthansa and I couldn't fault them. I seem to remember the inflight main meal was sausage based, so no surprise there. And the beers were German lagers which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and efficient and more importantly didn't treat requests for extra drinks as if you were asking for the crown jewels.

we done a connection at Frankfurt for our trip to LAX 4 or 5 years ago... no problems at all and Lufthansa was a superb flight. One thing to take on board is Frankfurt airport... it is enormous so give yourself time to get between gates.
