Heathrow - onsite parking - expensive

Just priced up Long stay parking at Heathrow - wow it has gone up since last summer.

17 nights July/Aug last summer was £76 at terminal 2/3 - this summer it is £150.

Have managed to booked it for £90 for 17 nights by booking T4 Long stay and just transfer from T4 to Premier Inn T4 overnight then free train T4 to T3 in the morning.

Not as cheap as I would like but works for us. I can't believe the price rise, but T2/3 was resurfaced and done up last summer so guess that's how they pay for it.

£64 September 2 years ago. Looking for September this year, hope it's not going to be £150

My dates last year were the same as this year in same car park - we go as soon as school finishes so it's

21 July (17.00pm) to 7th Aug (12.00pm) so not sure why the big rise except the refurb to carpark to pay.

Oh and I booked it at the same time of year for both trips in case that makes a difference.

I've managed to book Hilton at terminal 5 including 16 nights parking for £89. Flying from terminal 2 so got to do the transfers but for that price I'm happy to do it.

I was surprised how expensive it was. £135 for 11 days in May. I ended up booked the parking and hotel for £128.
Wasn't planning to drive the night before as pm flight, but can have a lazy morning instead now.
