Handbags/ backpack etc
Hi all
1st timers in May! 😀 We’re just talking about bags ... hubby is going to have a lightweight back pack for park, and I’m now thinking do I even need a bag! Ladies if you take a bag what type do you take? I usually have money/keys etc in mine and not sure about keeping these things in a backpack! |

I love a small crossbody bag with loads of zips, it can carry 2 bottles of water, keys, purse, small suncream reading glasses etc, plus it can go on the rides with me easy unless of course you have to put it in a locker

I take a small Kipling cross body just big enoug for money, glasses, ladies essentials 😉 And a small bottle of sunscreen cos we go in August. That's all we take. Hubby wears cargo style shorts so a few pockets. That's it. If we do take a backpack we don't put the valuables in it.

I only take one if we go to Disney springs or shopping etc, otherwise we have a backpack between us (which we take turns in carrying)

I usually have a Kipling cross body bag with me and just put my phone, anti bag gel/wipes, small deodorant, paracetamol and calpol melts for my youngest. Dh has a backpack that has his wallets, suncreams, mini fans and baby wipes that we keep in the fridge 😂 we don’t travel light anywhere haha

Just be ready to have everything opened before you get to the bag check at each park. Security agents / police officers will inspect everything within the bags even any “ ladies items” although some are much more sensible about them than others and use tact about them. You can find clear “ stadium” bags on amazon where you can show whatever you are carrying without too much worry. Lots of folks use a clear pouch on a lanyard for their mobile phones and any cash they need. Zipped pockets in shorts can be a big help too.

Pile anything you need into his backpack and go bag free 😁 This is my advice as I am usually the bag carrier for my family. DH can’t carry a bag as he perspires heavily at the best of times and Florida sends him into overdrive. Would jump at the chance not to have to carry a bag.
I carry a small Kipling Firefly backpack that takes 2 - 3 bottles of water, sunscreen, wallet, phone, painkillers and a few snacks. It has a few small pockets at the front that are handy to access park tickets before we started using Magic Bands but still use them for Universal. Just remembering I can usually squeeze ponchos in there too but that reduces the number of water bottles 😉 Edited at 09:26 AM. |

I use a small Kipling crossbody/backpack - style called Candy. It has card slots in so I don't need to carry a purse but I can also fit in small first aid kit, small sunscreen, sunglasses, tissues (all the usual bits n bobs) when my shoulder aches I can convert backpack & carry it that way. I also have a Kipling bum/waistbag style called Multiple which I use if we're only out for a couple of hours & I can carry less.
