Hot flashes night time no hrt

I am getting desperate so any help appreciated . They’ve getting worse ( had them around 2 yrs now ) start around 10pm and finish around 8am but the past month or so are constant . I’m going to the gp again but cannot have hrt. Has anyone tried anything that has helped them that also can’t have hrt? The bedroom is around 12 degrees with no radiator on, windows open and a fan on , poor Dh is freezing to death . I also have a clotting disorder so some alternatives I can’t touch either .
I Watch what I eat and drink before bed but nothing stops them. I’m exhausted

I used Menopace Max supplements from Vitabiotics - they stopped my flushes almost completely - you would obviously have to check the ingredients to make sure there were no possible interactions.

I have a drug that's used for anxiety that they found worked for hot flushes so not HRT based. The HRT gave me terrible tension headaches to the extent they thought I had a brain bleed at one point so they gave me this. It's called clonidine-it's addictive and a controlled drug so they don't give you very many per prescription but it's totally changed my life. I may occasionally have a hot flush now but very rarely. It's a drastic step due to the nature of the drug but I couldn't function so it was worth it.

I use Serenity cream which is a natural progesterone cream which works for me, but not sure if you could use that. I found the menopace tablets just didn’t work.

The only other thing that worked was a vegan diet, which worked for the first year but the symptoms gradually came back so I started using the Serenity cream.

A few sessions of accupuncture helped me.

I don’t know if this will help but I have just started eating healthier ( my diet was rubbish and I need to lose weight) but I am pre menopausal not full yet .
And I have cut out refined carbs, sugars, and eating all food made from scratch and I have found my flushes have reduced .
I take magnesium and liquid iron as well.
It maybe just my personal experience but it could work for you .
I also cannot take HRT

Thank you 😘 I’ve been on SlimmingWorld since Aug so loads of fruit and veg but they are getting worse , I already take magnesium and aspirin as I have lupus anticoagulant. This is a recent diagnosis so I think I need to ask if this is a factor . I’m just so desperate for sleep now.

When I was suffering someone recommended a chillow. Fill it water and keep it in the fridge in the daytime.put it on top of your pillow when you go to bed. It did help me.
