Comics/TV from your eariest childhood memory

I know these threads have run before but the 332s were having this conversation earlier with the ‘Eagle’ and ’Torchy The Battery Boy’ being Mr 332s memory and the ‘Bunty’ and ‘Watch With Mother’ being Mrs 332’s memory..

Whats yours ( this will give away your age ! )

TV - Fireball XL5 and Pinky & Perky

Mrs Morrow

Magazine - Jacky (is that spelt right?)
TV - Magpie

Girl comic for me, Eagle for my boy cousin. Used to love the cross section view they had of boats. planes cars etc. in the Eagle.

Used to buy the Beezer if this was free inside!

TV. Muffin the mule.

Great thread 😄
For me it was ‘Mandy’ comic and I loved watching ‘Cities of Gold’ and ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ although earliest memory was probably ‘Cockleshell Bay’ 😍

Beano/Dandy ...my favourites ever.
Bunty that I kind of liked but Beano was my go to from early on.

Forget all these modern TV shows with their corny songs and CGI.
Nothing could compare to Fireball XL5.

I wish I was a spaceman
The fastest guy alive
I'd fly you 'round the universe
In Fireball XL5
Way out in space together
Conquerors of the sky
My heart would be a fireball, a fireball
Every time I gazed into your starry eyes

We'd take the path to Jupiter
And maybe very soon
We'd cruise along the Milky Way
And land upon the Moon
To a wonderland of star dust
We'd zoom our way to Mars
My heart would be a fireball, a fireball
Cause you'd be my Venus of the stars

Who would be first in the queue for the opening of the new Disney Fireball land?

I remember that free gift in the Beezer. Could never seem to get it right, whilst chewing Bazooka Joes with my cap gun in hand
