Anyone who flew home with tui 3/11/19 from Sandford to Manchester
There appears to have been some error which means mine and my families departure has not been recorded. We have received an email saying we have 10 days left before we must leave the country. If anyone on here was on that flight migjt be worth checking your emails and i94.

Hi, we had these emails when we returned on a virgin flight in October 2018. We were really concerned about being regarded as an overstayer, tried to sort it but had a reply email to say not to worry. We kept all our boarding cards etc for our last trip expecting to get questions asked on our trip in October 2019 but nothing was mentioned.

Thanks Grace! I'm really stressed about it as we're due to go back in February for my husband's 40th. We've send all the info they've asked for so fingers crossed!

I had exactly the same email back on 13th December saying I had 10 days left! I was so confused as the last time I was in the US I flew back on the 10th October. I too sent all the info they've asked for and it took 1 month for them to email me back (when they state you will get a response within 3 - 5 working days...!) with a generic template email basically saying "If you go over the 90 days you will be overstaying and will need to get a visa to enter the USA. If you have received this in error please send us proof etc" basically asking for all the information again. I replied to the email and sent everything over again 1 week ago and still haven't heard anything.
I've tried calling them about 20 times in total now since 13th December on all different numbers I could find and they couldn't be less helpful and have all told me I can't speak to anyone on the phone and just have to wait to be e-mailed. In the meantime I'm down as overstaying as of the 23rd December and I have a business trip in the US in March which I absolutely have to go to so have been in a panic - I've done nothing wrong and wondering how this could happen. This has been a complete shambles and I can't believe they can get away with it and take so long to get back to people. Good luck OP - I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us!

We received a report of overstaying a couple of days into our trip in 2018. Totally incorrect and passports/entry all valid for the standard 90-days.
These mistakes on their part seem to be getting more and more common sadly and do make you worried. It also didn't state in the email who in the party it applied to (ESTAs etc are all done by me for the 4 of us). I emailed them, sent photos of passports/ESTAs etc but they were far from helpful. You can check online your in/out of the USA and ours were logged as per our trips. I spoke to a TSA rep at the airport on our departure when they came up and she confirmed we'd been logged correctly and nothing to worry about. We travelled last year without any issues and booked again for this year. |
