Blood blisters
Hi!
Does anyone else suffer with constant blood blisters in their mouth? Dentist said it's not due to my teeth. Getting quite sore. Anyone know any causes?

If the dentist has no idea, I would suggest you go to your GP and consider changing your dentist.
Blisters sound very painful, a pharmacist might be able to offer some advice to relieve the discomfort. I hope you feel better soon. Edited at 07:16 PM. |

You should visit your GP as there are many causes of this some serious some not. Could be something as simple as an allergy to some foods.

If your dentist didn’t suggest any treatment for it I would be changing dentists. I would expect my dentist to know everything about my oral health.

I had a bout of these blood blisters which seemed to go on for several months so I spoke to my dentist when I had my check up. He had a good look round and couldn't see anything sinister but suggested I see my gp just to make sure.
So, I went to my gp, who didn't know either but sent me for a blood test which came back clear. I then thought it could be a stress thing as I was having trouble at work and my DS who has autism was struggling at school. Stress, for me, does manifest itself in very strange ways. The blood blisters did disappear eventually and I've not really suffered with them since. So they will probably be nothing, but I would still visit your gp. |

It could be stress as it does come and go. I'm being tested for food allergies, so I will bring it up x

Could it be something simple like hot drinks?
I do get them occasionally but I am sure it is because I like my tea/coffee very hot

I dont drink any hot drinks, only squash. Two popped up after eating a packet of crisps but I eat the same ones all the time. I'm thinking maybe stress related as I have periods of them then they disappear x
