Manchester Security for Upper Class

Do you get to use the priority security check if you are flying Upper Class with Virgin at Manchester?

Flying UC for the first time in August and can't wait!

No, it really bugs me - you get access to what they call priority security which puts you in with the prams etc and can take longer.
Fast Track is the paid for a quicker option and I think what VS should supply.

Yes, it’s disappointing that there is a far better security service available than that offered for UC pax.
How’s the UC lounge at MAN these days? I’ve not been for a while but have UC for May (hopefully!)

It was Escape Plus last time we flew, decent breakfast, plenty of choice of complimentary drinks and it was very quiet. Hopefully the new Clubhouse will open for our next trip, we're booked for April.

It might be, but they're reward seats (£30 max to change or refund) and all hotels and hire car are fully cancellable.

I'm trying to be positive, but realise I might have to move it nearer the time.

I believe the new Virgin clubhouse may be wishful thinking however I would be hopeful that your planned vacation goes ahead and wish you every success

I can't see T2X at MAN (where the Clubhouse is) being open by April.

That said, the Escape Plus lounge - whilst not being a Clubhouse - isn't too bad. It's quite small but has never been over busy when I've been in there. The breakfast selection is good & if you're on the later Virgin flight, they switch over the buffet to a lunch offering at about 11:30am. Just had sandwiches when in there for the later flight as I knew 3 course meal was coming on the aircraft a couple of hours later.
