Average cost of food for 2 weeks at Disney
Are there any guides to average spends. I’m just making a plan B for next year if no dining plan reappears. Maybe move to a cheaper resort and pay for food instead?
I know it’s how long is a piece of string. But I wondered if someone had already done the leg work on this. We would do our own breakfast and it would be a QS each a day and a TS most days, just one course mostly. I was thinking of sitting down and trying to add it up myself with a calculator and the menus. Something to convince my husband it’s a viable option. |

I suppose its balanced out somewhat by the accommodation being cheaper? For us as a family of 5 staying onsite without free dining or a good room discount would be out of our budget. Our room rate at CBR was more than double what we paid for a villa per night.

It was £3400 I think. I was hoping it would be around £2000 as that’s about the difference we would pay for cheaper resort. That was even just having only QS some days

I can not believe there will be free dining next year, I think Disney have had their last penny off of me. We would not go to Florida without a car and would not go to Disney and not stay onsite both seem incredibly daft and when you travel such a long way you want to get the best. We usually do about 10 days in total on site and the same off.
If I was persuaded to go and stay onsite with no dining plan our evening meals would be off site where 3 of us can eat for the price of one o site. But as I said no free dining charging parking To hotel guests we probably won’t book again. |
