I keep reading about this miracle vaccine but what if there isn't one? Will America be closed to the rest of the world for ever?

I think it’s highly unlikely there won’t be one.

I don’t think a vaccine is a miracle. I think it’s science and it’s looking very positive.

How can you guarantee that?

well, i can't guarantee obviously as that's impossible so maybe the wrong wording on my part. appologies.

I do however believe there will be a lot of people not wanting to take a vaccine that hasn't been tested for very long (on average, clinical trials are 3-7 years) with no idea on long term effects of the vaccine, a lot of people (just going from who i have discussed this with online etc...) would rather not take it and wait until longer testing was carried out. Like i said, this is just from the responses I have had when speaking about it. Not getting up on my soapbox or anything so we're all good.

To also add i'm not anti-vax or anything either. I just think that if a vaccine is brought out soon, a lot of people will be reluctant to get it.

back on topic...

We are getting off my original topic I agree, But I would like to address this scaremongering (conspiracy) against a vaccine, 1) we aint Russia nothing is been rushed, 2) The first people to get this will be the most at risk of dying and NHS workers and those in the care sector is the UK government really planning to kill off or maim our entire most at risk people plus our healthcare and social care workers?

Recovering visitor numbers and confidence is going to be key for Disney and the UK market will be just as important as it has always been. I will be amazed if it doesn’t reappear in some form.

Not a chance. If it’s still closed come the spring I will be amazed.

Me too, we fully expect to be going in March next year.

If the boarders are still closed to international visitors in spring we will all have bigger problems than a holiday and dining plan to worry about.
