Maybe a short post but it sounds like a great time was had.
My trip to South Wales is bad enough, Cornwall must be an awful drive.
I dont blame you for changing that nerxt time.

Still some good highs in there :-)

With you on the food, very expensive, at times the tip we were leaving could have bought a meal back in the UK in Frankie & Bennys etc.

But we've kind of put it down as a "learn" and decided next time to do the QS plan.

We had some great highs! I definitely think it made us rethink what we want from the holiday. That's not necessarily a low - just a change of mind.

Ah, ok. You had the Table Service dining plan (I'd incorrectly assumed you just had the QSDP because you stayed at POFQ). So I'm guessing you paid extra to upgrade the dining plan? That makes more sense.

I agree that if paying out of pocket the food is *very* expensive. However, I reckon the free QSDP when staying at a moderate resort is great value for money (it's free!) and even the "free" TSDP when staying at a deluxe resort is reasonably good value (you're only paying 20% of the menu prices).

Also, "We found it to be a lot of money for the price" ? Surely, it's the expected amount of money for the price - given that the two are the same thing.

The awful $ rate is one of the reasons we've booked to go to POR with QSDP
We will not have to look at the price of anything & just spend our credits on whatever we fancy

Massive whoops on my part here I meant we found it to be a lot of money. That jetlag is still hanging in there!

I know how you feel with the drive home from London airport's, I'm in Devon and always say never again, and always think of people who have to travel from Cornwall the price we pay living in such a lovely part of the country, great until we need long haul travel.

I wish Exeter was used more and started long haul flights.
