Mobile Nintendo switch as present for 9 yr old

Our daughter has wanted a Nintendo switch for about 6 months and it’s her birthday in November. I’ve said to her she can have one as combined Xmas and birthday. She doesn’t even have a play station or anything now. Any thoughts or where to buy for offers

If her birthday is near the end of November you may want to wait until Black Friday to purchase it. Stores like GAME will have deals on console bundles and department stores and even supermarkets are likely to have them.

We brought our's in the black friday sales last year it was for our son's xmas present, to be honest the savings were not great, think it was about £20 cheaper and the games in the deals were not the most popular ones.

I have a 9 year old boy who has wanted one for a good 12~18 months... I've been saying no but I think we might give in for Christmas but it's just so expensive. It would be birthday and Christmas but his birthday is September, 2 weeks after we get back from holiday! I will follow this thread in the hope of a bargain!

Maybe Santa brings the Xmas gifts, and this is a special birthday/Xmas gift from mum and dad. There are always ways to explain these things without it stopping Santa doing his job on Xmas Eve 😀

That was absolutely my plan. She would still get a Santa gift at Xmas but she also needs to respect the cost of this.
