Hair Straightener, heated curling brush etc on Carnival?

Hi all.
DW wants to know if she can take an electric hair straightener or curling brush on the ship.

The Carnival site seems to say its okay, but it also says you can take a flat iron, which I thought was a definate no no.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
James

Hi. You can definitely take hair straighteners on board a Carnival ship.

Thats great to know. (She will be pleased)
She said if it wasn't allowed, she would take hair curlers. But I explained that she would then have to sit with them in her hair for a long time, which in turn would impact on our eating, drinking and sightseeing time.

Americans call straightners flat irons took me ages to work out
Why my friends daughters didn’t just buy then and not use an iron
Lost in translation springs to mind

Hi Gryff.

Thanks for that info. I didn't know that a flat iron in America was actually a hair straightener. That explains the Carnival site say you could take them onboard.

I've just said to herself that I could use her "Flat Iron" to take the creases out of my polo shirts, but I don't think she's too happy with that idea.
