New Favourite - Frozen Custard

Culvers is my new favourite restaurant.

We stopped there for the first time ever yesterday. Just for a lunchtime snack between villa shopping at Lowes and Target.

The chicken tenders are nice and the quasi-table service (you order at the counter and they bring it to your table) is great.

But the frozen custard - A-May-Zing. So flavourful and creamy, it comes close to beating a dole whip. They do millions of flavours, but the plain vanilla is delicious on its own.

I may never visit Twisty Treat again

Culvers is also massively well situated. At Westside, just over a mile from the 192/27 junction

I feel another visit beckoning before our flight home...

Regards

Gary

We love Culvers! They have the daily specials of custard flavours on their website.

Gary we called in Culvers on south US27 for the first time last week after a trip to Lowes. Only tried the frozen custard-the concrete mixer I had it with caramel & whipped cream, Rob had peaches & whipped cream-really nice, will definitely be going again in November!

Another Culvers fan here! Their burgers are great too. They are a Wisconsin company so try the Cheese Curds too.

Have to agree - we've eaten there, but went back with the grandchildren for the frozen custard - I'm not adventurous so had the plain vanilla - amazing. DH loves the chocolate mint.

Their food and service are great. As I have mentioned on here before they are also very supportive of the local community including my daughter's school.

Custard update...

Managed to squeeze in a quick detour on the way from Brandon (for last minute Bonefish Grill) to a quick Froz Custard on the way to TPA.

Regards

Gary
