BA.com Covid Policy

Afternoon all,
We have a flight to Zagreb in October that we would like to amend to another destination due to the recently imposed quarantine for travel from Croatia. We won’t look to amend until mid October as we will need to assess the likelihood of quarantine from other destinations, however when I look on the covid help section of BA, you can only currently amend (without incurring fees) flights departing before end of Sep. Does this time limit get reviewed, eg soon might it cover flights until the end of Oct, or has it been set at that cut off point since the start of the disruption? If anyone has knowledge of this id be very grateful for your input.

It changes, it was the end of July, then August now September so you have to wait a bit longer x

When did you book the flights? We booked New York for December in March just before Covid, and we’re able to make free amendments. It might be worth calling or contacting them via email to see what the restrictions are on your booking.

Thanks, we booked in November last year, we are all insured etc so I’m not overly concerned, it’s just that we don’t want vouchers as after so many cancelled trips, we seem to be accruing lots of vouchers for hotels, airport parking and flights! So ideally we’d like to still go away but to a different city. Luckily we have a bit of time to watch what the case numbers/quarantine rules are doing in other destinations, so hopefully by the time we need to make a decision on where to go, the BA policy should include flights up until end of Oct.
