Totally wrong side and nowhere I would want to be walking. Never been a student there but did work in the Centre for 16 years.

The forge is a good location (can’t comment on the accommodation other than they used to call it the ghetto when it was first built).

My cousin went to Hallam ( much younger than me) and lived near the bottom ( city end) of Eccleshall Road area and loved it.

Just checked with my DD (she's been helping out on the Applicant Days recently), who said that the closest Halls are the Elements and a new one called the Liv. Both are about £140/150 p.w she thinks.

My DD is currently in her first year at SH. She is staying at The Gate. It is slap bang in the centre of Sheffield and really lovely. It has some fab communal areas and a roof top garden. It also has a free gym. I think this is only the second year it has been open
