Heathrow Airside

Hi,
We have a 8hr stop over before out connecting flight to Aberdeen at heathrow T5 from the US. Where is best to spend it? I have Priority pass but the aspire lounge isn't exactly the comforts, LHR doesn't seem to have any internal hotel either? It's for a family of 4?

Thanks

Personally with 8 hours at LHR, I would leave the airport and head into London or Windsor for a few hours. If you want to stay airside at T5, it's basically lounges, shops, restaurants and bars. If you don't want to leave the airport you can still go landside and maybe visit the Sofitel for a change of scene.

There isn't a huge need to stay airside, you'll have to clear immigration and security anyway, so doing it at main immigration and back through regular security rather than doing both at connections won't make much difference with that much time on your hands. Just make sure if you go landside that you are back at the boarding pass check entering security no later than 35 mins before the LHR-ABZ flight, or you will get "computer says no" and won't be boarding the flight.

Ah, Thanks, I didn't think I could leave airside as it was a connecting flight?
