BA app and VeriFLY

What’s the actual point and use of these! When you get verified via VeriFLY and still unable to check in online. Absolutely useless 😡

It’s been a hit or a miss since it started
We’ve flown several times since October and only once have we both been able to checkin with verifly
I hope I can tomorrow but DH knows he’s no chance on Saturday as he’s flying with the grandkids but his seats are sorted as well

The majority of issues I have seen reported have been for those with a domestic connection before the flight which actually needs verification. Verifly doesn’t appear to be handling those so well, though I couldn’t say definitively that this is the cause.

I’ve used both Verifly and BA’s own process numerous times since they were introduced, and had very few issues. It does work for a lot of people, albeit that doesn’t make it any less frustrating when it doesn’t.

Well i cant check in for my first flight tomorrow says my documents are not verified even although ive got a green tick

Ba no longer use this they got there own app so might be better to do a search on your mobile might work better

What is this BA verifly app? I can't see anything on the Play store...

Ba app is just as useless
You wont be able to check in the day before without either verifly or the ba app ive got both cant check in for tomorrow but you can wait until you go to the desk and have hard
Copies of everything
Ive got the paper copies packed as well

It’s not a BA-specific app, it’s just called VeriFLY. It’s a 3rd party app used for pre-flight documentation verification by various airlines, including BA, AA and Aer Lingus.

It’s not mandatory, but you usually can’t complete online checkin without it on routes where it’s used. As you see above, sometimes you still can’t complete online checkin with it, though I’ve had very few problems with it myself.

I’m an Apple user, but there is definitely an Android version.
