One day Disneyworld Ticket

Hi,
I am thinking about buying a one day disneyworld ticket direct from disney using a vpn. It would be linked to MDE but would I have to get a physical ticket to gain entry? All our magic bands are quite old now so not sure if they would work.
Cheers

Old magic bands ill still work for entry and will still be connected to your account, so if using them you would need to do nothing.

Magic bands do have batteries, but they are for long range activities like photos on rides.
They also have a short range rfid component, that does not use batteries, but is powered by the magnetic field of the rfid reader.
This is what Disney uses at park entry, so old magic bands will work ok, even when the internal battery is dead.

You can also put the ticket on your phone, but I have never done it, lots of others on thedibb have.

I've got my tickets from undercover tourist, I went for a 3 day park hopper ticket but you can buy the one day tickets too. They are e tickets that you link on the MDE. I paid also to have the physical tickets too.

I bought 1 day ticket for MK direct from Disney using a vpn, it was really easy & had automatically linked in to my MDE when I logged in. I am going to collect physical ticket from Disney springs as will be there prior to park day just to save a bit of time. As I didn’t think we’d be going this year I recently threw our magic bands out from last visit, I know it works with phone but I think I will get a cheap basic band whilst in springs as I much prefer using them

You can get physical plastic cards at the “Will Call” ticket desks outside each of the parks, or the Ticket and Transport Centre for MK.
