Budget Car Hire - Melbourne

Wondering if anyone has used them and if they where ok?

Also was the car decent enough?

Used Budget at Melbourne, last week, through Andy at DFCH.
Ordered 7 seater minivan and collected an 8 seater Toyota Sienna. It’s on a New York plate and has 34000 on the clock. Runs really well and looks very good.
Someone was in front of me at the Budget desk so I got called to the Avis desk and dealt with a nice lady. No hard sell then she directed me to the van which was just across the road. Checked the receipt was as it should be then signed and collected the vehicle.
No issues whatsoever.

It really was a good experience. Like most I was unsure as what to expect but I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again

We had used Budget booked through Andy at DFCH. Ordered an intermediate suv and got a Mazda CX-5 with 27000 on the clock. It was a really nice car. Few scrapes on the front bumper which we photographed whilst in the lot but nothing was ever mentioned on return. No hard sell at the counter. We also got called up to the Avis counter and the lady was lovely. Dropping off was really easy just leave the car in the same area where you collect it from. No one to check the cars in so they ask you to drop the keys in the box at the desk where you collected them. Only issue we had was a charge for petrol when we had returned it full! Fortunately we had photos of the petrol gauge on collection and drop off and the odometer on pick up and collection. Also receipts. Andy was great and contacted Budget who refunded. Would definitely use Andy and Budget again. Superb service from Andy!
