Booking boarding groups for guests with different tickets?

Is this not at issue as long as you're linked on MDE?

I've had to book mine & DD's parks separately as I have an AP and she has a 14 day UK ticket, they're completely different booking systems with different availabilities.

I'm going to be trying to get us a BG for GoTG so am hoping that as we're linked on MDE that won't be a problem?

As long as you are linked in MDE and select as part of your party when looking to join the queue you will be fine.

I’m going with my American partner and they have American tickets with all the add ons and I have a UK Magic ticket and yeah, we’re having the same issues. Can’t book anything together as claims ‘different ticket types error’ so have to book everything separately. So dreading booking lightning lanes and boarding groups as we’ll have potentially different times.

Hopefully will all work out.

Whilst I knew there were different availabilities for different ticket types, I hadn't really given it much thought as usually travel with DH and we both have an AP, it makes it even more confusing!

Fingers crossed there are no issues with boarding groups & LL, shouldn't be surely if we're all linked, but who knows, you'd think there'd be some overwrite where you could book parks with your party, I guess WDW IT just isn't that sophisticated.
