The 3 week Sept extravaganza – which turned into a 2 week trip in June with a cruise! Intro

Introduction

This trip was supposed to be part Disneyworld, part cruise but as we have all learned now in this ‘post-covid’ world you need to be prepared for things to change!

Both Rob and I caught Covid for the first time in Florida and whilst neither of us were particularly unwell (which we are grateful for) it did mean that we were unable to go on the cruise section of our holiday and we spent less days in the theme parks than we had planned.

It also means that my trip report will probably be a slightly different format than normal as otherwise there will be several days which say something like “we stayed in our room and watched HGTV”.

We were ‘lucky’, it was very mild but the cruise was a no go cos Rob was positive.

So so sorry you missed your cruise... We are hoping to go on the Wish in 4 weeks time but a bit nervous about the pre cruise testing especially after flights, parks etc! Looking forward to reading your TR and glad you didn't suffer too much.
