Hire Car Pricing Question

Hi everyone,

This might be a random one and might not be something that anyone has an answer to but hey that's what the DIBB is for! 😀

I already have my car hire sorted out but have been keeping an eye to see if prices have dropped. I find I just randomly check the prices a couple of times a day but is there a set time in the day when the car hire companies update their price or a best time in the day to search?

I don’t know the answer, but this is a great question!

I am starting to find that if I pick my phone up I want to check. 😂

Surely there is some logic to it in the way that there is supposed to be better times to search for flights etc

I dunno if there is a certain time but I have been checking for mine for a few weeks and got a deal yesterday!

I suspect not and that it is very dynamic and done by computer algorithm 24/7 based on supply and demand and various parameters.
I have seen it change numerous times per day. I guess each site will be different tho.

I guess there might be a niche for someone to develop an online service where you can add your dates, class of car etc and it pole the rental sites constantly and only notify you when it finds a price below what you have (or have stated).
