No confirmed closure date yet, but other posters seem to think it’d be January. I go in September 22 and I really want to ride it as “Splash” one more time. Looking forward to seeing the remodel, though!

I think I saw recently that Splash had a bit of a paint in some areas, so doesn't seem anytime soon, it normally goes through a refurb at the start of the year. It seems very unlikely they will close it before Tron opens, which will probably be next year now, so probably a year to year and a half to refurb and retheme, with closure early next year.

I was last at WDW in October/November 2017. Spalsh was closed. I am going back May next year. It’s so going to be closed. Gutted. 😭

My 6 year old daughter has been watching videos of Splash Mountain on YouTube for years. We are going in August but weren't going to Disney. Now I know it won't be open when we do go to Disney next year I've forked out for mnsshp tickets for this year. I hope she doesn't chicken out when we get there 😁
