We got to this spot around 8.15pm for the 9pm showing on Thursday 4th June last month. Spot was busy but nothing like the mad crush in front of the castle for the MK fireworks. Enough space to sit down comfortably with bags until show time, when everyone stood. We had a spot on the slight ramp going up from the path away from the lake (between 68 & 69 on the map)
As above about 30 minutes, actually to the right of the shops at 68 was ok too on our 2nd visit
