Apologies for being ‘that’ mum, but I’m so proud. Georgia heard today that she’s got a 2:1 degree in Biology. She was so excited, she’s still on holiday In Amsterdam with her boyfriend but she rang me as soon as she got the results with the words ‘I’m a scientist’ 😂 I must admit I had a few tears, it’s not been easy for her (or any students) over the past few years studying during a pandemic, but she’s worked so very hard to get the results.

I'm good thanks - got my endoscopy rearrange very quickly for Friday, so I'm on the low residue diet already .

Sorry not been around as much last couple of weeks, I started work back at Fred Olsen, has been going really well but very tiring.

I am off to Austria on Wednesday for few days, with my son his girlfriend and her mum, who hasn’t been on a plane for over 25 years. Am excited for her more than me! We are room sharing will be different- hubby is looking after our pup.

At my endoscopy they found a couple of bits but nothing sinister, so all's well.

How is everyone? Just thought I’d update with a few photos of our holiday in Athens. We had a wonderful time, I was very nervous a day or two before we went and it did stress me for the first day of our holiday when I was off my food and felt a little overawed by such a big city. We soon started to get the holiday feels though and had a really good time. We loved the Acropolis and the other ancient sites, the hotel was really lovely with a rooftop pool to relax by and cool down, the city itself has a great vibe to it and we ate fantastic food. The highlight would be the trip to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion to watch the sunset 💞 I’ve certainly got my appetite back for travel
