My toaster probably had as many burnt on crumbs and as they fall to the bottom it doesn’t and wouldn’t bother me one bit.

To be fair to the OP, I have seen some pretty rough toasters in my time. If I a honest, one or two of them may or may not have been my own , but in a rental property I would expect SOME crumbs, but not lots.

Also, a full crumb tray can be a fire hazard, so there is that...

But they are fallen off tiny bits of bread that will have been baked until there is nothing but hardness left……….unless you are planning on eating them I think you’ll be fine 🤣🤣
