I cloud retrieving deleted photos

Does anyone know whether there is any way that I can retrieve photos that have been deleted by I cloud ?

Sorry can I just clarify what you mean exactly.

Have you deleted some pics of an iPhone or iPad, and want to know if you can get them back from your iCloud account, or are they gone forever?

If an iPhone, go into your Photos on the iPhone, Albums - scroll down until you see RECENTLY DELETED - are they in there?

Yes I’ve done this - they were deleted a long time ago and I’ve since changed my phone too ( not ideal I know )
Are they gone forever?

Yes, I'm afraid so.

ICloud keeps all your devices in sync, but it doesn't store deleted photos, so if you delete them from your phone then they are deleted from everywhere.

Thank you saves me a lot of trouble trying to do it myself
I though they might magically be in the cloud or something lol - that’s the extent of my knowledge!
